Benoît Goudard

Benoît Goudard, research associate, department of geology

Having always been drawn to science and nature, and having grown up in the heart of a region surrounded by the Jura and the Alps, he naturally turned to geology to understand the landscapes that had always fascinated him.

After earning a master’s degree in earth sciences in 2023 from the University of Geneva, he specialized in geophysics. In late 2025, he joined the Naturéum and began working on the mineralogy, paleontology, and geology collections.

Cantonal Government Websites and PHP Security Vulnerabilities

Like many organizations around the world, the cantonal government uses PHP, a widely used programming language, on some of its websites and in some of its applications. In light of the recently disclosed and widely publicized security vulnerabilities, preventive measures have been implemented to strengthen the security of the affected systems.

The natureum.ch website has been secured and can be accessed. However, the palaisderumine.ch, espace-arlaud.vd.ch and mcah.ch websites are currently still offline.
