Collections

The Naturéum's collections contain nearly 7 million objects and specimens, making it Switzerland's largest natural history museum, combining botany, geology and zoology. A small portion of these collections is displayed in permanent and temporary exhibitions, but most of the specimens are used for research and heritage conservation. They are therefore not visible to the public.
