Siberian Tiger
The Siberian tiger at the Museum, actually a tigress, did not live hidden in the forests of Asia but at the Zoo de Servion. She had to be euthanised in 1991 and was prepared by the Museum's taxidermist. He placed a small treasure in the animal's belly. A letter explaining who he was, a newspaper reflecting our era, stamps ‘who knows if they will increase in value’ and a small bottle of rum, very real unlike that of the great white shark!
